With a discerning eye for aesthetics and a deep appreciation for the power of art to transform spaces, Jenny helps clients curate meaningful collections that reflect their personal vision and style. Her work bridges scholarship and intuition: the rigor of connoisseurship with the sensitivity of an artist’s gaze. From first-time collectors to seasoned patrons, from intimate residences to public-facing offices and family foundations, Jenny guides every step of the process with creativity, care, and discretion.
Educated at New York University (B.A. in Fine Arts), Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York (M.A. in Art Business), and Bank Street College of Education (M.S. in Early Childhood Development), Jenny brings a rare interdisciplinary lens to collection building. Her academic grounding in art history and markets, complemented by training in human development and learning, informs a practice that is both intellectually rigorous and human-centered—attuned to how people actually live with art. She believes the most compelling collections are not merely assembled; they are composed with intention, context, and continuity.
Jenny’s leadership of a family foundation focused on education, health, and the arts further shapes her approach. Philanthropic engagement keeps her connected to artists, institutions, and curators, and it deepens her conviction that collecting is about more than ownership: it is a long-term conversation between people, ideas, and place. Whether advising on a single statement piece or stewarding a multi-year acquisition strategy, she prioritizes provenance, condition, and value—while never losing sight of the emotional resonance that makes a work indispensable.
Anchored in scholarship and elevated by taste, Jenny Slayton-Green Art Consulting exists to help clients live beautifully with art—creating spaces that communicate identity, invite conversation, and endure.
